DAY 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Distance: 43 Km

Time: 45 Minutes

Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Green Mountain Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your group name on an signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

Distance: 130 Km
Non – game viewing time: 2 – 3 hrs

After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterwards you head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. In Tarangire National Park northern Tanzania’s you will enjoy finest birding. The low baobab-clad plains and fever-tree groves here support many cool species including three Tanzanian endemics and near-endemics: Over 550 bird’s species found in the park including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufus-tailed Weaver. The lush grasses are full of ground birds like Northern White-bellied Bustard and both Red-necked and Yellow-necked Francolins and many others. Later afternoon you will drive to Karatu to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park.

Distance: 50 Km

Non – game viewing time: 1 hr

After tasty breakfast from your hotel the tour will departs to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world, also include Buffalo, Elephant Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Warthog, Impala and also Manyara health population lion are famous for their tree-climbing antics.

Lake Manyara National Park has over 300 bird species including Eurasian migrant birds, acacia associated birds, raptors, and 3 endangered Tanzanian species: Rufous-tailed weaver, Ashy starlings and Black-collared Lovebird. The bush clups on the edge of the floodplain is occupied by groups of Long-tailed fiscal, the rare Pangani Long claw. The birds in the Lake Manyara forest are: Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Schawlow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Crowned Eagle and ground dwelling Crested Guinea fowl and many more can also be found in the Lake Manyara National Park. Late afternoon drive back to Karatu at your lodge for Dinner and Overnight

DAY 04: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park.

Distance: 145km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, you descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Early evening you’ll drive to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 05: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, you’ll have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. Also you might be able to see all BIG FIVE animals in this park if you’re lucky enough. After great game drive you’ll drive back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.

Say good bye to Serengeti National Park. After breakfast you’ll have early morning game drives in Serengeti park before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation area.

You will stop one of Masai Boma where you will learn African culture, they will sing and dancing their songs, here you will learn how they make their own jeweler and other more things to learn. Then proceed with our safari direct to your accommodation where you’ll have your Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 07: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha.

Distance: 145 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs


After an early breakfast with your picnic lunch box from your lodge, you’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here. Late afternoon after extensive game drive you’ll drive back to Arusha direct to your hotel.

DAY 08: Departure

(GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY)

After breakfast to your hotel, then you will park your things ready to visit girls center Inuka Tusonge Foundation (ITF) and spent at least one hour with underprivileged girls and share some ideas with them while prepare your lunch-African local meal, which arranged by the company before you leave to the airport. Later after having your tasty lunch with those girls you will proceed direct to the airport where you will board your flight heading back to your lovely country.
