Tanzania has many tribes, today have much time in Chagga region by visiting Marangu village. Stretch your legs through hiking to Marangu waterfall which located to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, here you have a chance to swim in this clear water before going back to the village for coffee tour. In a small coffee farm here you will learn about how is grown, harvested and processed locally. Try your own hand at processing, roasting and prepare a fresh cup of coffee. Later having local prepared lunch before heading back to Arusha city.

DAY 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet our company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city for overnight. Our driver will display your group name on signboard. You’ll get a chance for Safari and other activities briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Maasai market, Tanzanite experience
Morning after your breakfast, at 830 you will head to Arusha Maasai market, This Masai curio market is a convergence zone for locals and tourists in search for authentic African products. It is an open-air market with large variety of products ranging from beautiful African cloth made from colorful African fabrics, Maasai leather sandals, beaded jewelry. Kiondos, shukas … you will also find a variety of wooden carvings and other art works. latter you will go for Tanzanite experience, where you will learn a lot about this mineral stone which are not found anywhere in the world but only Tanzania. You will have enough time to ask questions to your guide in this tour, so you will see many things when heading one place to another.

DAY 03: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
After Breakfast you will head to Tarangire National Park which takes about 1 hour to reach the park from your lodge. You will get to see large number of elephant family and magnificent Baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras and other animals without forgetting finest birding. The low baobab-clad plains and fever-tree groves here support many cool species including three Tanzanian endemics and near-endemics: Over 550 bird’s species found in the park including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufus-tailed Weaver. The lush grasses are full of ground birds like Northern White-bellied Bustard and both Red-necked and Yellow-necked Francolins and many others. Then back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
CULTURE TIME: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area was designated for the Maasai to inhabit when they were removed from the Serengeti by the Tanzanian government. Their villages (bomas) begin to appear on the eastern slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater as the gravel road descends to the plains around the Serengeti. The bomas extend far out into the plains, where they graze their cattle. Bomas consist of thatch and brush huts encircled by a ring of brush. Just learn more about their unique culture, take photos and enjoying their dancing. One hour to 2 hours for culture before proceed to Karatu to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 04: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti
This day you will have an early breakfast from lodge before departing to the heart of wildness in Tanzania the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. There after you will depart to Serengeti for overnight.

DAY 05: Full Day Serengeti Game Drive.
Optional Serengeti Balloon: Start the day nice and early with a game drive at dawn. You will head out while the animals are at their most active. This morning, there’s also the option of a balloon ride over the park. If you have pre-booked this activity, you will be picked up before dawn and driven to the launch site. After a safety briefing, glide through the dawn, sometimes at tree height, where you’ll get some amazing photo opportunities. Sometimes you will ascend, getting an overview of the vastness of the plains and the early morning movements of the herds this takes half an hour ride before joining other group members in a game drive . This day you will have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti for better spotting of many animals including BIG FIVE animals. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes’ scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. DAY 06: Serengeti to Arusha via Olduvai Gorge.
After breakfast you’ll have morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley you might be lucky to see predators hunting. Then the tour departs to Karatu. You will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. You will get time to visit Masai Boma before driving to Your hotel in Arusha.

DAY 07: Arusha to Kilimanjaro (Materuni Village)
The tour will start at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro, From this point of waterfalls you can view well Mount Kilimanjaro. Materuni Waterfall is one of the most popular and the booming waterfalls in the area. One-hour hike, descending through the stunning green landscapes of Chagga land will bring you to this huge waterfall, you will have the opportunity to stand underneath the waterfall, even jump off one and go swimming in the refreshing water and have a well-deserved break for lunch in the beautiful village. You will then have an ample time for coffee tour. The villagers will explain how coffee is locally and organically cultivated, processed, roasted, grinded and you will observe the entire process from the beginning to the process of making a cup of coffee, from seed to mug.

DAY 08: Scenic Flight to Mount Kilimanjaro & Cooking class and barbeque
This day you will have a flight trip on Top of Kilimanjaro, you will enjoy to see the mountain on top which is a lifetime experience before heading to cooking center. Tanzania has variety of dishes depending on culture of the tribes, since there are more than 120 tribes and each has their traditional food, getting this in mind we are going to learn the most common meals, the most loved ones and barbeque. Barbeque is common in many tribes in Tanzania so you will get to learn the local way of making it, which will include sea food, Chicken and other meat. You will participate in these activities and later you will share the meal. The company will offer you alcohol treaty with local wines and beer.

DAY 09: Departure to Zanzibar
After breakfast at your hotel, then you will park your things ready to proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will board your flight heading to Zanzibar.

DAY 10: Zanzibar Stone Town Tour
After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Stone Town for the city rounding tour. This tour will take you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. You will visit the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace) and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques! Stop at one restaurant for lunch before transfer back to your hotel for Dinner and Overnight

DAY 11: Sunset Dhow Cruise
Nungwi Aquarium it’s a lagoon in which you are going to swim with sea turtles and also feed them. The beach is the perfect place to relax and to feel sea breeze, swimming, taking pictures before going back to your hotel for dinner and overnight relaxation.

1. Layered, versatile clothing
Wondering what to wear in Tanzania? While Tanzania is swelteringly hot for much of the year, it can also get very cold, plus you’ll need different types of clothes for different activities. Going on safari? You’ll need lightweight clothing in neutral colors. Want to trek Mount Kilimanjaro? You’ll need plenty of warm weather hiking gear. Want to relax on the beaches on Zanzibar? You’ll need swimwear, but you’ll also need to dress modestly outside the resorts, to respect the local culture.
4. Day bag
Whether you’re out on safari or cruising the islands of Zanzibar, you’ll need a daypack to carry everything you need including sunscreen, a water bottle and your camera. Bring a secure bag that’s lightweight and waterproof, and go for one with lots of pockets to keep your things safe and organized

10. Gadgets
Likely you prefer to keep it minimal, there are a few tech essentials you’ll need to add to your Tanzania packing list. You’ll likely want to take tons of pictures on this special trip, so bring either your smartphone with a camera or a separate SLR camera. Remember to bring extra memory cards so you never run out of space, extra chargers and waterproof cases to keep everything secure
2. Comfortable shoes
You’ll likely be doing a lot of walking in Tanzania, so you’ll need a comfortable pair of sneakers that you don’t mind getting dirty. If you plan to do any hiking or walking safaris, bring a sturdy pair of boots with good ankle support, and some thick socks. You’ll also need a pair of sandals or flip-flops for lounging by the pool or the beach.
5. Sun protection
Whether you visit in the dry or wet season, you’ll always need sun protection in Tanzania. You don’t want a sunburn or sunstroke to put a downer on your trip, so bring a hat, polarized sunglasses and plenty of high SPF sunscreen
8. Money matters
When you travel to Tanzania with us, most of your expenses will already be covered including your accommodation, transport and some meals. However, there are a few things you’ll need cash for like souvenirs and extra activities. It’s best to come prepared with a mix of credit or debit cards and cash on your Tanzania packing list.
3. Medical kit
While most hotels, lodges and camps in Tanzania will have a first aid kit on hand, it’s always a good idea to bring your own essentials in a small medical kit. You should bring items like pain killers, antiseptic ointment and bandaids, hand sanitiser, electrolyte tablets or powders, strong insect repellent, eye drops and travel sickness tablets.
6. Toiletries
Everyone requires different toiletries, so this packing item is up to you. We do recommend pouring products like shampoos and moisturizer’s into reusable travel bottles, to save space and waste. You might also like to try solid toiletries, like bar shampoos, deodorants, moisturizer’s and toothpaste tablets.
9. Entertainment
Tanzania is a big country and you’ll likely experience some long coach, yacht patty trip or plane journeys. There’s also usually some downtime during the hot midday sun on safari, and it’s the perfect time to have a nap, read a book, play cards, or listen to some music. Bring some headphones that block out the noise on planes, and an e-reader instead of a bunch of heavy books.
