Our 8-Days Luxury Tanzania wildlife safaris specifically include the UNESCO heritage site the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the world famous Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, The Great Serengeti national park, Tarangire national park and Manyara. This specific Africa safari and travel itinerary has been designed for all visitors. This itinerary has been designed to offer you a total Tanzanian northern circuit safari experience, while attempting to keep your non game-viewing travel time to a minimum.
DAY 01: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha

Time: 45 Minutes
Welcome to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you’ll meet your company arranged driver who will transfer you to Arusha city to Gran Melia Hotel for dinner and overnight. Our driver will display your group name on a signboard. These procedures ensure that you are picked up by the correct driver, rather than by some of the airport taxi drivers who are looking for business. You’ll get a chance for Safari briefing/introduction before your dinner.

DAY 02: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.
Distance: 130 Km
Non game viewing time: 2 -3 hrs
After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before you head off on safari. Afterwards you head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. In Tarangire National Park northern Tanzania you will enjoy finest birding. The low baobab-clad plains and fever-tree groves here support many cool species including three Tanzanian endemics and near-endemics: Over 550 bird species found in the park including Ashy Starling, Yellow-collared Lovebird, and Rufus-tailed Weaver. The lush grasses are full of ground birds like Northern White-bellied Bustard and both Red-necked and Yellow-necked Francolins and many others. Later afternoon you will drive to Karatu to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Wildlife Highlights: Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Lion, Leopards, and wild dog, Gerenuk, Oryx, Pythons, Gazelle, Buffalo and Abundant Elephant.
Birdlife Highlights: Yellow necked spur fowl, Northern white crowned shrike, Black necked weaver, White faced whistling duck, Red, billed hornbill, Pygmy falcon, African marsh harrier, Woodland kingfisher, Black headed heron, African Hoopoe, Yellow billed stork, Lilac breasted roller, Open-bill stork, Ostrich, Superb starling, Red Yellow Barbet.

DAY 03: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park.
Distance: 50 Km
Non – game viewing time: 1 hr
After tasty breakfast from your hotel the tour will departs to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world, also include Buffalo, Elephant Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Warthog, Impala and also Manyara health population lion are famous for their tree-climbing antics.
Lake Manyara National Park has over 300 bird species including Eurasian migrant birds, acacia associated birds, raptors, and 3 endangered Tanzanian species: Rufous-tailed weaver, Ashy starlings and Black-collared Lovebird. The bush clups on the edge of the floodplain is occupied by groups of Long-tailed fiscal, the rare Pangani Long claw. The birds in the Lake Manyara forest are: Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, Narina Trogon, Crowned Hornbill, Schawlow’s Turaco, Emerald Cuckoo, Crowned Eagle and ground dwelling Crested Guinea fowl and many more can also be found in the Lake Manyara National Park. Late afternoon drive back to Karatu at your lodge for Dinner and Overnight

DAY 04: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti.
Distance: 160 Km
Non – game viewing time: 3 hrs
After an early breakfast with your picnic lunch box from your lodge, you’ll descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You’ll visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.
CULTURE TIME: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area was designated for the Maasai to inhabit when they were removed from the Serengeti by the Tanzanian government. Their villages (bomas) begin to appear on the eastern slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater as the gravel road descends to the plains around the Serengeti. The bomas extend far out into the plains, where they graze their cattle. Bomas consist of thatch and brush huts encircled by a ring of brush. Often cardboard and refuse are used as fill in the structure. In the huts a small fire is used for cooking. Just learn more about their unique culture, take photos and enjoying their dancing. Afternoon after extensive game drive you’ll drive to Central Serengeti direct to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 05 & 06: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park.
Optional Serengeti Balloon: Enjoy an incredible Safari from The Sky over the Serengeti National Park, boosting enchanting scenery and uninterrupted views as you embark on an extraordinary adventure. Special arrangements are made for you to depart before the break of dawn. This gives you a rare chance to experience the awakening of the surrounding wildlife and a wonderful sunrise. With amazing opportunities for stunning photographic moments, this miraculous glide over the Serengeti ecosystem allows you to absorb the magnitude of the size of the park. Planned take-off is at dawn – 6am. The flight depends mostly on the weather and the wind, thus varies from day to day, but generally it is an hour flight. Once you land, our ground team will escort you to your breakfast area.
After breakfast, you’ll have a full day game drive in Central Serengeti. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the parks isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. Also you might be able to see all BIG FIVE animals in this park if you’re lucky enough. After great game drive you’ll drive back to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 06: Serengeti National Park to Arusha.

After breakfast you’ll have morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park. In the Seronera Valley you might be lucky to see predators hunt as animals gather at the waters during the dry season. After lunch at a picnic spot you’ll slowly drive to Arusha via Olduvai Gorge for historical learn before departing to Arusha City for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 08: Departure
Arusha City Explore – Depending with time of your flight. (OPTIONAL)
Arusha city is safe for all visitors who wants to explore the city by day walking, take your time to explore the beauty of Arusha city from your hotel to the center “ Clock Tower with your local women guide Levina. From there heading to Maasai Market where you’ll met local women who make Maasai handmade accessories, local African printed clothes, local culture shoes before heading to central market depending with the time.
After breakfast to your hotel, then you will park your things ready to proceed direct to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will board your flight heading back to your lovely country.
